Grenadier of Militia uniform, about 1812+ though no-one can identify the tunic for sure. Basically showcasing my shako that i made. Trousers are modern but passable - the fly front was in use before the fall front!

Very nice, and the shako is bang on! Great help to me in a picture I'm doing at the minute. The tunic might be from the King's Own Regiment of Foot, or another Royal Regiment, if the lace on the front and cuffs are plain white.

We've agreed that it's most likely militia as it has 10 buttons instead of the usual nine, plain lace and not ... fuzz... on the epaulettes.
