Grenadier redcoat circa 1812+by ~GeneralVyse

Grenadier of Militia uniform, about 1812+ though no-one can identify the tunic for sure. Basically showcasing my shako that i made. Trousers are modern but passable - the fly front was in use before the fall front!

Hope you find them useful - i've made a sample diorama of how they might be used in my scraps

Tunic looks kinda like the 58th Rutlandshire Regiment of Foot, though

Very nice, and the shako is bang on! Great help to me in a picture I'm doing at the minute. The tunic might be from the King's Own Regiment of Foot, or another Royal Regiment, if the lace on the front and cuffs are plain white. :D

Thanks for the info, and glad you like them, sorry the quality is so poor!

We've agreed that it's most likely militia as it has 10 buttons instead of the usual nine, plain lace and not ... fuzz... on the epaulettes.
