Was this uniform based upon a specific painting of an Officer from the 1st Footguards or was it just a generic officer uniform? I can't seem to find much official information about 1760-1790 uniforms.

If you really really want this type of uniform, Not me and I'll give you the details of the man who made it, but it will cost you about 500 to complete - it's worth it though ;)
