Berkshire regiment Mess jacket

Dissection of my Majors tunic, belonged to Bt.-Major Sir T. E. S. Pasley bart, of the berkshire regiment (66th)

note that while it has kings crowns for rank, it is in fact late victorian having been converted/modernised when Queen Victoria passed away and king edward the VII was crowned. the buttons show queens crowns still!

this is the uniform he would have worn to dinner, there was even a seperate uniform for levee's/ soires.

it's suffered very little moth in the 110 years it has existed and overall it is in great condition
